The Transformed Cadillac Escalade: Mansory Edition with Impressive 26-Inch Wheels

Mansory has unleashed its new Cadillac Escalade, getting some crazy 26-inch wheels, and the German tuners are gearing up for their own Escalade V too.

Mansory isn’t exactly shy to craft some serious modifications to its products. The German based company will modify practically anything. Ranging from Ferraris to Rolls-Royces and Bentleys and BMWs. One of their latest products has a distinctly American flavor to it. Mansory took the Cadillac Escalade and gave the SUV some massive wheels and the customary Mansory external treatment. The company says that they are living the American dream with their Escalade, and have even enhanced the performance of the big SUV.

This comes not long after Cadillac gave their SUV the much-needed V treatment. That hasn’t been lost on Mansory either. The company set to give the new V Series Escalade their usual changes to create something even crazier than their standard Escalade.

How Mansory Extracted More Power From The Cadillac Escalade

Under the hood of the Escalade as standard is a 420 hp 6.2-liter V8 engine. A huge powertrain in itself. Although not quite on the level of the one found in the Escalade V. Already providing plenty of power for daily driving, Mansory has tuned the engine to now provide 455 hp and 478 lb-ft of torque. Giving away that the engine has had some upgrades is that Escalade now sports quad exhaust tips, and while it’s not a huge horsepower increase, it is still a bit of extra power to play with. Yet the power isn’t the most impressive aspect of this build.

Mansory’s Escalade Features Huge 26-Inch Wheels

Adorning the big SUV are new 26-inch wheels, that while huge don’t look overly big on the large Cadillac. The wheels are in a very distinctive glossy black, wrapped in 295/30 R26 tires which probably cost a huge sum of money to replace. Adding to the changes Mansory made to the wheels are the new carbon fiber body add-ons. A roof-mounted rear spoiler and side mirror caps are the only changes to the exterior of the SUV. Those mirror caps with a design similar to what we have seen on BMW M cars.

There are some interior changes to the SUV, but these are more subtle than before. Mansory floor mats are visible, with new colors for the seats, center console, and the center of the steering wheel. Even if it is a giant SUV, the changes here are quite tame by Mansory standards. The biggest difference is the big wheels that feature on the SUV. But for those who want even more power and performance, they are best waiting for the Escalade V Series that is coming soon from Mansory.

Mansory Is Set To Modify The Cadillac Escalade V Series

The Escalade V is the flagship SUV in the Cadillac range. Calls for the Escalade to get the V treatment have been around for years, but the finished product is sensational as we realized in our review. Under the hood is a 682 hp 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine. It’s a hand-built engine, closely related to what Cadillac has under the hood of the CT5-V Blackwing. That is another supercharged V8 that produces 668 hp. The performance of the Escalade V is befitting of its power levels, with the 0-60 mph time 4.3 seconds. Making it 1.7 seconds quicker than the 2022 Escalade Sport Platinum.

Torque levels are huge as well, with 653 lb-ft of torque coming from the V8 engine. How Mansory will get more power out of the SUV remains to be seen. All-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic transmission are features of the Escalade V as standard. While Cadillac has also worked to upgrade the suspension and braking systems to handle that extra V power. The air springs and adaptive dampers have both had tweaks. Ensuring that the SUV’s body motions are lessened, to help with the SUV’s overall ride quality. Braking power is enhanced by stronger, firmer six-piston Brembo front brake calipers.

Remarkably, Cadillac may be about to squeeze even more power out of its SUV. An all-electric IQ version is in the works, which might provide 1,000 hp. That model is set to come for the 2025 model year, with a reveal likely to come later on in 2023. So far, Cadillac has been very cagey on what we can expect from the electric SUV. If it does have over 1,000 hp however, it will move ahead of the GMC Hummer which currently has 830 hp and 28 miles of range.

Mansory Love A Big Upgrade To A Large SUV

Mansory is no stranger to putting big upgrades on an already powerful SUV. One of their recent products has been the Range Rover P530. The twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood of this SUV has had its power turned up to 628 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque, injecting the Range Rover with steroids. It moves the Mansory creation above Range Rover’s powerful Sport SVR, and means the big SUV now has even more power than the 572 hp Porsche 911 Turbo. And the exterior of this Range Rover is as Mansory as you would expect.

No SUV is safe from Mansory and its upgrades. One of their other recent products has been the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63. This package comes with two jumps in power, the first being the P720 package which is an upgrade to the vehicle’s SUV software. This sees the power of the AMG jump from 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, to 710 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque from the 4.0-liter twin-turbo hybrid V8 engine. That power comes with plenty of external changes to the SUV as well to give it the appearance of a stealth bomber.

If that wasn’t enough for you, Mansory also loves to take a concept and make it a reality. Such as with the two-door coupe Lamborghini Urus, a highly limited edition with Mansory production of just eight examples of the big and brutal SUV. Amazingly, the company has managed to extract 900 hp and 811 lb-ft of power from this big SUV. A 0-62 mph time of 2.9 seconds puts it into supercar territory, with a top speed of 200 mph, 10 mph more than the stock Urus. The star of the show though is that insane two-door coupe design that transforms the appearance of the Urus.

The Mansory Escalade Is More Subtle Than Other Creations

What is remarkable about the Mansory Cadillac Escalade is how subtle it is versus its other designs. The power level increase is so subtle, while there are very few exterior and interior changes. The biggest changes are of course those new, 26-inch wheels that the SUV sits on. The biggest performance changes are set to come with the Escalade V, whenever Mansory decides to introduce that. But there are plenty of other mad Mansory creations to keep us happy for a long time, and we can’t wait to see what the Mansory Escalade V is like.
